DGR Packaging Sdn Bhd, since its inception in 2004 encountered many challenges. The company was launched in Johor, Malaysia to first tackle the state’s market demand. Our aggressive business approach combined with flexibility and the ability to adapt as well as diversifying our business scope led us to venture into trading of UN packaging materials.
Aligned with our values in putting safety first and delivering the highest quality standards to fulfill our clients’ requirements, we applied for UN certification from SIRIM QAS for the production of UN fiber board boxes. We began producing our own UN fiberboard boxes by contract-manufacturing operations upon received our UN Certificate in 2007.
Since then, we have gained the trust of world players, exporting to countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and the Philippines. In 2009, we were appointed as DG Service Provider as DG Inspectors at Senai Cargo Complex by Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd.
In June 2010, DGR Packaging obtained the approval from the Malaysia Marine Department as Training Provider for IMDG CODE, and we’ve carried out numerous training programs for personnel and professionals from the industry ever since.
Our volume of export continues to grow rapidly that in November 2011, we had to move our operations to the current premise to fulfill the growing demands.
With the increased amount of space and resources we were able to house more automated machinery to facilitate our manufacturing business ensuring consistent high quality products focusing on UN fiberboard boxes and brown cartons since February 2012.
